But if you would be choosing over all which capture software should you better get then I would suggest Dxtory. It has significantly more useful features in it and much better performance over Fraps. These were my results, so I can personally say that FRAPS has better performance then Action. If you ask specifically between Bandicam and Fraps then obviously get Bandicam.
What I mean by locked: Program/Game locks/limits the FPS to a defined value. What I mean by unstable: Consistently/Constantly changing FPS commonly going outside the said FPS, has radical changes.

So when I saw Action! with it's claims of excellent performance vs. Also, Ive been eyeing Dxtory, which looks like a spiritual successor to FRAPS. I have been interested in a new game recorder for quite awhile now, mainly due to FRAPS having no compression/large file sizes. I like OBS as well because it supports streaming and regular video capture with hardware-accelerated support out of the box(Albeit AMD GPU users like me have to settle for a great, but unofficial fork.).
